Being from the American South, I’m not quite sure why I’ve never made “fried green tomatoes,” but during the summer months I often make “fried ripe-red tomatoes” and folks these are great. And, if you ever tasted my own recipe for homemade macaroni and cheese, you would toss out any of that boxed JUNK they sell on the grocery shelf with a packet of powdered ‘ who-knows-what’s-in-it’ sauce mix. My recipe only takes a little bit longer to prepare.
