I always have a few trick-or-treaters who knock on my door, and I enjoy handing out goodies during the evening. The pumpkin was roasted over the weekend and the wild rice, pumpernickel bread, and cookies were made ahead as well, making this an easy dinner to pull together on a weeknight, while being visited by ghosts, goblins, monsters, and ghouls every now and then.
