The pie crust was made, rolled, and tucked into the pie plate over the weekend, and the filling only takes a few minutes to prepare. I also steamed the wild rice, and made the cookies ahead of time, which was another time-saver. If you plan ahead, it’s easy to finish the preparation of this meal in an hour or less. Amadeus cheese may not be easy to find, but I strongly suggest that you search for it. If you have a Whole Foods Market in your neighborhood, you should be able to find it there (when available).
