On a hillside near Virginia’s Skyline Drive, overlooking the Shenandoah Valley for a quick weekend getaway. This menu was uncomplicated to prepare and just the right type of thing to start a weekend of quiet, solitary contemplation. I brought the fresh chives snipped from my balcony garden, and the fish and broccoli was purchased from the local farmer’s market here. Likewise, the almond cookies were made at home and brought along for the trip.
