I have used various inspirations in the creation of this dish, and so much so that I can’t begin to credit them all. I also add that this is probably not the idea you might have about a “stuffed pepper” standing upright and tall. I prefer to split the pepper horizontally and stuff it that way which is easier and requires no “propping up” during the final baking stage.
