I love spicy sausages, and for this meal I used fresh, hot Italian sausages which I first simmered in a bit of boiling water and then seared on the grill pan until browned. Along with the accompanying veggies and sides, the sausages may seem a bit commonplace, but sometimes the idea is just that! Serve a simple satisfying meal of plain ingredients and let it speak for itself!
